As time has flown by, I awoke one beautiful day and realized it has been a long-long-long time since I truly had a day of peace filled with any great expectation other than just another day had begun. 

It hit me how gloomy my view of life had changed slowly regressing over the years of existing in the rut.

Here I was retired, still living from pay check to pay check after 34 years, my joy slowly slipping away. I felt sad, but suddenly had the impulse to go toward my office and as I began going through some papers ( you know what I mean😉), those same piles of papers that have been ignored forever!!

As I picked up a paper, turned on the shredder, and glanced over the paper, what I read literally hit me right between my eyes!

My awareness was jolted into the now.

There were 4 verses which I had long buried with daily living, job, family and time. As I read them, tears of thanksgiving and waves of emotion washed through me. I was bombarded with splintered memories of times past and ghosted dreams. 

I read them again and again and gently a faint clarity of when and how, began to appear in my heart and open my mind’s visions of remembrance, flooding me with great joy and peace – long, long gone from my life. It impacted me so profoundly, I grasped the chair arms and leaned back with my eyes closed, suddenly savoring these forgotten emotions.

Ding Ding Ding!!

And almost simultaneously an email pop-up in my box. As I silently said an ugly word for invading this special moment, it titled “JB, you will love this” from XXX.

I don’t believe in coincidences so naturally I opened it (and because of the sender), clicked the link…… Read the info!

AND….it took my breath away. I saw a potential door open for my life to begin anew, refreshed, energized, regaining joy and peace- all from just these few verses triggering what in time past was a constant in my life, and an email link popping into my now:
